What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized oncology nursing care for adult patients
- Monitor cardiac activity and manage telemetric equipment
- Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and manage IV access (PICC, ports, arterial lines)
- Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal
- Manage patient symptoms and comorbidities, ensuring infection prevention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adapt to facility needs by floating within units of similar acuity
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
- BCLS certification
- EPIC EMR system experience
- Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage invasive lines
Preferred:
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience with oncology patient care
- Additional certifications relevant to oncology or critical care
