PCU Float Registered Nurse – Columbus, OH

What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care in the PCU float pool during night shifts
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels; coverage may be required at a nearby hospital with minimal walking distance
- Utilize Epic telehealth system for charting and communication
- Start IVs, monitor vital signs, and administer medications
- Respond to patient needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
- Document accurately and timely patient information
What You Need
- Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care, ICU, or general med-surg units
- Strong IV skills and proficiency with Epic electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to float to different units within the hospital as needed
