Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $56.95

What You’ll Do
- Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Develop and follow individualized care plans in compliance with regulations and clinical standards
- Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to guide interventions
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes accurately
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and care teams
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and healthcare team members regarding patient status
- Complete discharge summaries and maintain detailed, compliant patient records
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, trainings, and conferences
- Supervise and support CFYs or student speech-language pathologists as needed
- Obtain and manage supplies and equipment per clinical standards
What You Need
Required:
- Active certification and licensure from ASHA and State of Texas
- Prior experience in speech therapy within healthcare settings
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
Preferred:
- Experience supervising students or CFYs
- Knowledge of rehabilitation protocols and multidisciplinary teamwork
