What You’ll Do
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with physical functioning disorders and wounds.
- Administer therapies including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices.
- Evaluate patient progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide patient and family counseling related to physical health and rehabilitation goals.
- Communicate regularly with healthcare team members regarding patient status and treatment adjustments.
- Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries and maintain accurate electronic health records.
- Support supervision of rehab aides and students, ensuring adherence to professional standards.
What You Need
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Oklahoma
- At least 1 year of experience in rehabilitation or LTC settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of clinical assessment, treatment procedures, and documentation standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
