What You’ll Do:
- Provide evidence-based rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments for patients with physical functioning disorders
- Support and implement clinical interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Administer procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices
- Monitor patient progress and communicate with supervising PT to modify treatments as needed
- Document all clinical activities and patient responses accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Support and supervise students under guidance of a Physical Therapist
- Adhere to professional standards, state practice acts, and ethical guidelines
What You Need:
Required:
- Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Missouri
- Prior experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Experience with rehabilitative procedures and documentation protocols
- Ability to work independently within a team
