What You’ll Do
- Evaluate patient function using formal and informal testing measures
- Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data
- Coordinate treatment schedules with patients, families, and clinical staff
- Document treatment regimes and update plans of care as needed
- Educate patients and caregivers on pathology, treatment options, and prognosis
- Collaborate with supervising physical therapists and support staff to ensure quality care
- Assist with patient progress evaluations and adjust treatment accordingly
What You Need
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Michigan
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to patient-centered care
