What You’ll Do
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients in long-term care settings
- Conduct exercises, massage, gait, and balance training under supervision
- Track and document patients’ progress and report findings to supervising physical therapists
- Support patient recovery and mobility improvement efforts
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapeutic interventions
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant treatment environment
What You Need
- Current PTA license in Texas or eligible for licensure in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or similar setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and document progress effectively
