What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor sterilizers, including Sterrad, Ultrasonic (CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed), and other sterilization equipment
- Ensure adherence to strict sterilization and infection control protocols
- Assist in preparing surgical instruments and supplies for procedures
- Maintain documentation of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with surgical and procedural teams to ensure timely instrument processing
- Follow safety guidelines and reporting procedures for equipment malfunctions or concerns
- Support emergency preparedness protocols as assigned
What You Need
Required:
- CRCST or CSPDT certification
- Minimum 3 years experience in Level I or II hospital setting
- Proficiency with sterilization equipment including Sterrad and Ultrasonic devices
- Ability to work a mid shift (14:00 – 22:30)
Preferred:
- Experience in surgical services or core sterilization roles
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
