This vital role primarily involves managing night shifts from 7p-7a, delivering essential hospitalist care, overseeing patient admissions, and contributing to patient management within a dynamic acute care environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive hospitalist care during night shifts (7p-7a)
• Manage patient admissions and overall census within the hospital
• Oversee an average daily census of 51 patients
• Handle an average of 8 daily admissions
• Perform no procedures as part of the hospitalist team
• Note that admissions and census typically decrease by 10-20% on weekends
