A hospital in Pennsylvania is seeking an OB/GYN physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage. Schedule

• 24-hour in-house call coverage


• Maximum of 48 consecutive in-house hours


• Ongoing need for approximately 10 days per month

Practice Environment

• Hospital-based OB/GYN service


• Approximately 700 deliveries annually


• Sleeping room available on-site


• Physician serves as primary OB/GYN during coverage


• Collaborative support structure

Support Staff

• Two Certified Nurse Midwives


• Maternal-Fetal Medicine support available


• Dedicated labor and delivery team

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery patients


• Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections


• Manage VBAC deliveries


• Provide care for high-risk obstetric patients


• Respond to obstetric emergencies


• Perform inpatient OB/GYN consultations and evaluations


• Complete documentation in Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology


• Active Pennsylvania medical license required


• Minimum one year of OB/GYN experience


• Clean malpractice and background history strongly preferred


• Must qualify for temporary privileges if expedited onboarding is needed

Credentialing

• Temporary privileges available with a clean file


• Expedited onboarding available for qualified candidates
