An acute care hospital in Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This opportunity focuses primarily on in-house night and weekend coverage with a high-volume obstetrics program, strong specialist support, resident involvement, and a collaborative labor and delivery environment.

Schedule

• In-house call coverage


• Weekday Days: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM


• Weeknights: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM


• Weekends: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM


• Primarily nights and weekends with some daytime shifts available

Practice Highlights

• Approximately 5,500 annual deliveries


• High-volume OB service with active GYN coverage


• Strong multidisciplinary support structure


• Teaching environment with resident and fellow involvement


• Dedicated Maternal-Fetal Medicine support

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house OB and GYN coverage


• Labor management and obstetrical care


• Perform C-sections, D&C procedures, and D&E procedures


• Manage gynecologic emergencies and ED transfers


• Respond to service calls and patient care needs


• Supervise residents and collaborate with trainees


• Work closely with hospital-based OB/GYN teams

Support Staff

• 3 OB/GYN Physicians per shift


• 1 Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician


• 2–3 Certified Nurse Midwives


• 2 Advanced Practice Providers


• Residents and Fellows

Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology


• Active Ohio license or IMLC eligibility


• Minimum 2 years of experience


• Clean malpractice and background history


• NPDB self-query completed within the last 6 months


• Comfortable working in a teaching hospital environment
