Key Responsibilities:

• Emergency Department Coverage:
  
  
  
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages in the Emergency Department (ED).
  
  
  • Manage a wide range of cases, from resuscitation and emergent situations to urgent and semi-urgent conditions.
  
  
  • Work 12-hour shifts from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Sunday, with flexibility in scheduling.
  
  
  
  


• Patient Volume and Acuity:
  
  
  
  • Expect to see 10-20 patients per shift, with an annual ED visit volume of approximately 14,000.
  
  
  • Patient acuity is varied, with 15% resuscitation/emergent cases, 50% urgent cases, and 35% semi-urgent/non-urgent cases.
  
  
  
  


• Clinical Requirements:
  
  
  
  • Candidates must hold certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
  
  
  • Board certification eligibility is required.
  
  
  • Experience in both urgent care and emergency medicine settings is essential.
