Seeking a full time (permanent) Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join a fantastic health care team in the Houston, TX area!

Overview: Collaborates with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process; provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records.

Candidate Qualifications:

At least 3-5 years of L&D Experience
Completed BSN
Must have an active RN Texas License, or active multi-state compact RN license, clear of stipulations or disciplinary actions.
Must have at least 3-5 years experience in an acute care setting that is Labor and Delivery (No ADN, new grads, will be considered this is not negotiable for fee and platform)
Full Time Night Shift Availability Required – Candidates must be available to work full time night shifts exclusively.
Extended women services RN experience is a plus
Must be able to communicate efficiently

Position Details:

Full Time - Night shift
Level 4 Maternal Designated Facility
12 labor beds, 19 antepartum beds, 4 swing beds
Approximately 400-450 deliveries a month

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing

Licenses/Certifications:

Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
Certified in Basic Life Support
Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements
