This is a meaningful opportunity for a Psychiatric APRN who is passionate about serving adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders in an integrated, team-based setting. About the Role The Psychiatric APRN works alongside social workers, clinicians, and case managers to provide coordinated, whole-person care. You’ll build strong therapeutic relationships while delivering high-quality psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). This role offers the autonomy to make independent clinical decisions while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary care team. Key Responsibilities -
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and re-evaluations -
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans -
Provide psychiatric medication evaluation and ongoing medication management -
Prescribe and manage medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders -
Monitor treatment effectiveness and coordinate care with primary care providers -
Participate in on-call coverage rotation -
Serve as a clinical leader on the interdisciplinary treatment team -
Communicate changes in treatment plans and client needs to appropriate staff - And more!
Qualifications -
Master’s Degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner certification required -
Psychiatric certification or actively working toward psych certification -
Current, unrestricted APRN license in Vermont (or ability to obtain upon hire) -
Experience providing psychiatric care and MAT for adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders -
Experience working with complex adult populations including developmental disabilities and medical comorbidities -
Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications -
Experience using Electronic Medical Records -
Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and compassion What You’ll Receive -
