This small town offers big recreation and entertainment opportunities. Fort Peck draws people from hundreds of miles away to recreate around Fort Peck Reservoir. Most popular is utilizing the lake and dredge cuts for boating, swimming, and fishing. Camping and barbecuing are very popular and facilities for camping and cooking are well developed.
Besides the lake, Fort Peck offers several more activities. The Fort Peck Theatre performs plays during the summer and draws large crowds.

Fort Peck Service Unit is comprised of three clinics: The Verne E. Gibbs Health Center and White Buffalo Clinic are located in Poplar, Montana and the Chief Redstone Clinic located in Wolf Point, Montana; the clinics are located about 20 miles apart. Fort Peck Service Unit provides direct ambulatory and preventative health services through the Indian Health Service programs. We are accredited by The Joint Commission with Patient Centered Medical Home certification.

•  Hourly + stipend
•  We pay as a 1099 and cover your malpractice
•  36- 40 hours per week ( OT available)
•  October 1 2025 – 13 weeks ( option to extend)
