Additional Requirements

• Two neurosurgeons whom the APC will work with and support for clinic, call, and surgical purposes.


• Two department APC's currently.


• Looking for 1 full-time locum with ongoing availability.


• Neurosurgery APC Requirements: Must have recent neurosurgery experience including surgical cases.

Practice Details

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, with 4 – 10h days for 3 weeks alternating with 5 – 8h days for 1 week. Weekend call is Friday through Sunday, and weeknight call is Monday through Thursday.


• Duties include surgical first assist, bedside procedures, independent rounding in all hospital units including NICU, PICU, Peds, ICU (surgical and medical), and general med/surg floor, hospital and ER/UC consults, clinic duties including outpatient consultations, post-operative/post-hospital patient care, fracture care, patient phone calls, medication refills, and FMLA documentation.
