Support Staff: RNs, surgeons, midlevel’s

Coverage Needed: 1 FTE every Monday – Friday

Patients per Day: 15-20

Patient Population/Age: 18 and up

Department Description: Cardiothoracic surgery – in clinic area
- Chest tube removals, wound vac dressing changes, care, and documentation
- Wet to dry dressings
- Stitch and staple removals

EMR: CERNER

Hospital Bed Size: 1078

Special Procedures: Chest tube removals, wound vac dressing changes, care, and documentation, wet to dry dressings, stitch, and staple removals.

Skills Required: Critical care experience – 2 years.

Practice Setting:

Requirements:

Board Certification: NP or PA Cardiovascular Surgery

State License: WV

DEA: Required

CSR: Required

Certifications Required: APRN, ACLS, BLS

Minimum Experience: 2 years.
