Reason for Coverage: Additional physician needed for inpatient coverage
Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
Dates of Coverage: 5-10 days per month
Number of Urologists in Group: 1 MD (provides inpatient support), 2 APRNs (ambulatory/clinic based only)
Labs & X-rays: Onsite
Responsibilities:
The locum Urologist will play a crucial role in supporting the existing team by:
Covering the call schedule for urology 2-3 weekends per month
Handling on-call responsibilities
Taking consults
Rounding on urology service patients
Performing necessary procedures and surgeries
Procedures:
General Urology
Advanced Endoscopic Techniques
Ureteroscopy
Laser Certification
Additional Information:
The NPs do not provide inpatient support.
The employed physician does not currently perform robotic procedures but is equipped with 3 robots, accommodating a urologist with that skillset if needed.
