Pay & Benefits:

What You’ll Do:
- Provide telemetry nursing care to adult patients with cardiovascular and neurological needs
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry data, passing EKG competency exam prior to start
- Administer medications, including non-titrating cardiac drips, and manage related interventions
- Support patient care in Med/Surg, Ortho, Neuro, and Telemetry units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, RTs, and wound care specialists
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system
- Float to like units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care delivery
What You Need:
Required:
- Current RN license in State
- 2+ years acute care experience, including telemetry
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Ability to pass EKG competency examination
- Skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, wound management, and wound vacs
Preferred:
- Experience with hemodialysis, central lines, and dialysis management
About the Assignment:
This assignment involves providing specialized telemetry nursing care in a team-oriented, open-door culture environment. The unit features a 21-bed telemetry, neuro, ortho, and med-surg units, with a patient ratio of 1 RN to 5-6 patients. You will be supported by a dedicated staff, including charge nurses, RTs, wound care, and phlebotomy teams. The facility emphasizes safety, with PPE supplied and adherence to all COVID and safety protocols. The schedule includes work every other weekend, with holiday rotations and options for time off requests.
