What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care for adult ICU patients with complex diagnoses including STEMI, DKA, respiratory failure, stroke, sepsis, renal failure, and neuro conditions
- Manage critically ill patients with ventilator support, vasoactive drips, IV medications, CVL management, and tube feeding
- Assist with intubation/extubation and EKG competency requirements
- Monitor and support invasive procedures such as art line management and EVD drains
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RN, CNA, RT, phlebotomist, and hospitalist
- Float to PCU and MedSurg units when needed, with appropriate patient ratios
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
What You Need
Required:
- Current RN license in State
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in adult care
- Experience with stroke, ventilator management, invasive lines, and critically ill patient care
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
Preferred:
- Experience in neuro, cardiac, or trauma ICU settings
- Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
