What You'll Do:
- Provide advanced critical care to adult surgical, medical, cardiac, and neuro ICU patients
- Manage ventilators, assist with intubation and extubation
- Administer vasoactive medications and IV titrations
- Perform CVL placements and management, arterial line care, and EVD drain management
- Monitor and care for patients with STEMI, DKA, stroke, sepsis, renal failure, TBI, and other critical diagnoses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including charge RN, CNAs, RTs, and hospitalist staff
- Demonstrate proficiency in EMR documentation using Meditech Expanse
What You Need:
- Active RN license in State
- 2+ years ICU experience in adult critical care
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Skills: ventilator management, stroke experience, vasoactive drip management, tube feedings, and EKG competency (pass required)
- Ability to adapt to floating within PCU or MedSurg units (ratios 1:3 & 1:5)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment:
Join a dedicated team at a leading facility in City, State, providing high-quality ICU care for adult patients. The unit features 20 beds with an average census of 16 patients daily. You will work within a supportive environment that values professionalism, safety, and excellence in patient care. Orientation includes two shifts on-site, and training is provided to ensure you're fully prepared. This assignment offers a flexible schedule with the possibility of working holidays and some RTO requests (up to 7 days approved).
