• Board: Board Certified in Pediatric Surgery
  
• Licenses: Active VA License
  
• DEA: Active VA DEA
  
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, Board Certified
  
• Experience: Experienced pediatric surgeon
  
• Other Qualifications: COVID Vaccination required; COI coverage of $2.6M/$7.8M if requested
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pediatric providers to diagnose and determine surgical necessity.
  
• Manage and perform preoperative, operative, and postoperative care for pediatric patients.
  
• Provide full-time clinic coverage Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, and take night and weekend call.
  
• Round on admitted patients and perform weekend surgical consults as needed.
  
• Respond to emergency consults within 15 minutes callback and 30 minutes response time.
