  • Experience: RN with up to 2 years preferred; higher levels based on experience

What You’ll Do


  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for surgical patients

  • Obtain and document initial patient assessments; prioritize based on condition and needs

  • Re-assess patients regularly, monitor recovery, and identify trends requiring intervention

  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized care plans

  • Support patient and family education regarding recovery and discharge instructions

  • Perform Point of Care testing and other bedside procedures

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes

  • Comply with facility policies, protocols, and documentation standards



What You Need

Required:


  • Current RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state

  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications via AHA

  • Up to 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a PACU or surgical services setting

  • Ability to work 10-hour day shifts

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills



Preferred:


  • Higher clinical ladder level based on experience and certifications

  • Experience with EPIC electronic record system

  • Adaptability to floating within surgical services as needed
