Description
We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment in Massachusetts, starting Jul 27, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult and pediatric patients, including diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, performing wellness exams, and conducting minor in-office procedures. The typical schedule is 8:00am-5:00pm.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult and pediatric patients
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and URI presentations
- Perform routine wellness exams, preventive screenings, and annual physicals
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Perform minor in office procedures such as suturing, lesion removal, and joint injections as applicable
- Collaborate with integrated behavioral health, dental, and care coordination teams
- Document encounters accurately in the EMR and complete charts in a timely manner
- Educate patients on disease management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications
- Participate in team huddles and coordinate referrals to specialists when needed
Additional Information - Board Certification: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)

- Cases may include: Upper respiratory infections and seasonal viral illnesses; Asthma exacerbations and allergy related conditions; Hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic disease management visits; Minor injuries including lacerations, sprains, and simple fractures from outdoor activity; Dermatologic concerns including rashes, sunburns, and suspicious skin lesions; Gastrointestinal complaints such as dehydration, gastritis, and viral GI illness; Routine physicals, Medicare wellness visits, and preventive screenings; Women’s health visits including Pap smears and contraceptive management; Behavioral health related primary care visits including anxiety and depression management
