Our client in Massachusetts is actively seeking an Oncology Physician Assistant for a dynamic 60-day assignment, commencing Aug 10, 2026. This vital role involves managing new patient consults and follow-ups, operating within an outpatient clinic and infusion center, typically working 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM shifts, and handling a diverse caseload primarily focused on oncology and hematology patients.
Responsibilities and Duties - Perform New Patient Consults
- Conduct Follow-ups
- Work within an Outpatient clinic and infusion center
- Manage a caseload of 90% Oncology and 10% Hematology
- Provide Chemotherapy supervision/orders
- Handle Central line management, including Port-a-Cath and PICC line care
- Manage oncologic emergencies, such as tumor lysis syndrome, spinal cord compression, and neutropenic fever
