"Anesthesiologist Opportunity – Idaho Position OverviewA healthcare system is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity beginning as soon as credentialed. This assignment offers a combination of weekday clinical coverage, in-house call responsibilities, and a diverse case mix within a collaborative anesthesia team. Compensation: Regular: $330/hr OT: $500/hr Holiday: $500/hr 24 Hr Call: $1850 per 24 hrs Weeknight Call: $390 per shift Call Back: $500/hr Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP / July 2026 Duration: Ongoing Schedule Monday–Friday clinical coverage Approximately 1.5–2 weeks per month 50–60 hours per week Guaranteed 50 hours per week (excluding approved time off) Call Requirements Weeknight Call In-house call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM Approximately 1–2 nights per month Includes post-call day and pre-call shift Weekend Call Approximately 1 weekend per month In-house coverage Weekend schedules may include: Friday 3:00 PM – Sunday 7:00 AM Saturday 7:00 AM – Sunday 7:00 AM Practice Setting Hospital-based anesthesia practice Care Team and Independent Practice Models Clinical Responsibilities Provide anesthesia services across a broad range of surgical specialties Perform personal cases independently when assigned Supervise anesthesia care within a Care Team model when assigned Participate in weekday, night, and weekend call coverage Deliver safe perioperative care for adult and pediatric patients within scope Case Mix Required Experience Regional Anesthesia Excluded Case Types Cardiac Surgery Complex Pediatric Cases Transplant Procedures Ideal Candidate The ideal physician will be comfortable practicing in both independent and supervisory roles, possess strong regional anesthesia skills, and be willing to participate in a shared call schedule. Qualifications Required Board Certified in Anesthesiology Active Idaho Medical License or IMLC Eligibility DEA Registration Controlled Substance Registration (CSR/CDS) Experience with Regional Anesthesia Comfortable performing own cases Comfortable working within a Supervising/Care Team model Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination Credentialing Typical credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days Expedited onboarding available for providers submitted promptly Required Documents at Acceptance Providers should be prepared to supply: Medical diploma Residency and fellowship certificates Medical licenses DEA registration Board certification BLS certification Certificates of insurance Government-issued identification Professional headshot CME documentation from the past two years Immunization records Professional references"
