Correctional Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity – Houston, Texas
StartDate: ASAP
Available Shifts: Nights, 6pm-6am
Pay Rate: $360000.00 - $360000.00
A large, integrated healthcare system in Houston is seeking mission-driven physicians to join its growing Correctional Health division. This is an outstanding opportunity for physicians who are passionate about caring for underserved populations in a highly collaborative, team-based environment.
Physicians will provide comprehensive care within a county correctional system, working alongside experienced nursing staff, APPs, psych techs, pharmacy, radiology, dental, laboratory, and specialty support services.
Position Highlights
- Full-time night shift schedule (No locums/1099): 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- 14 shifts per month, 7 shifts per pay period.
- Work alongside a strong multidisciplinary support team
- No APP supervision responsibilities
- Low patient volumes – 2-3 patient per hour
- PSLF eligible employer with additional loan contribution
- Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and disability coverage
- Earn $360,000+ with 6 weeks of vacation time!
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Eligible for Texas medical licensure
