Description
We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a 10-day assignment in Arizona, starting Jul 13, 2026. This role involves comprehensive inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN clinic duties, complemented by a 24-hour call schedule from 7 AM to 7 AM, and clinic hours Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The successful physician will manage a diverse patient population, providing both routine and complex obstetric and gynecologic care.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN clinic and call coverage.
- Manage low risk pregnancies including patients with pre-existing conditions, history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, or hyperemesis.
- Care for high risk pregnancies involving conditions such as toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiac issues, chronic lung problems, or chronic renal disease.
- Perform FHR Interpretation including NST/CST/FSE.
- Conduct Level 1/screening (viability) procedures.
- Manage routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision making for c-section.
- Handle complicated deliveries such as c-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions.
- Perform VBACs.
- Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
- Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP procedures.
- Execute surgical gynecology procedures.
- Maintain laser certification for relevant procedures.
