  • Office Equipment Available: MRI, CT, EEG, conventional ventilators, oscillators, iNO, CPAP, hiflo cannulas
  • Specialty Backup Available: General Pediatrics, Pediatric Neurology, Infectious Disease, University of Michigan Cardiology and Ophthalmology (contract), Mott Children's Hospital, DeVos Children's Hospital, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: No
  • Temporary Privileges Available: No
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC preferred/BE
  • Licenses: Licensed in MI
  • Certifications: PALS, NRP
  • Experience: Level III NICU experience preferred
  • Other Qualifications: Proficient in intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, paracentesis, spinal taps, exchange transfusion, thermal cooling, ventilator management (oscillators and iNO)
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour in-house and on-call coverage for Level III NICU
  • Manage neonates with respiratory distress, pulmonary hypertension, sepsis, and other complex conditions
  • Perform necessary procedures including intubation, line placement, and spinal taps
  • Stabilize and coordinate transport for surgical cases
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including RNs, RTs, and consulting specialists
