What You’ll Do
- Provide expert assessment, treatment, consultation, and planning for lactation management.
- Deliver leadership oversight to support optimal lactation outcomes in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- For patients with advanced lactation support needs, develop an interdisciplinary plan of care.
- Communicate care goals and plan updates with the care team.
- Support coordination of lactation services to improve patient education and continuity of care.
- Maintain a patient-centered approach while ensuring clinical plans align with evolving needs.
What You Need
Required
- Current Massachusetts license (MA-licensed)
- Minimum required qualifications: Must meet job requirements for consideration (role may consider RN, OT, PT, SLP, or pharmacist as long as they meet job requirements)
Preferred
- Experience working with lactation management and/or interdisciplinary care planning (not specified, but relevant to the role)
About the Assignment
This temporary role supports a lactation consultant program in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on assessment, treatment planning, and consultation for patients—especially those with advanced lactation support needs. You’ll help develop interdisciplinary care plans and collaborate with the broader team to ensure patients receive consistent, expert lactation support.
