What You’ll Do
- Provide nursing care in the IR and Cardiac Cath Lab environment, supporting interventional/cath-based procedures.
- Prepare, assist, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Perform competent conscious sedation support, including monitoring and documenting patient status.
- Monitor and record all procedures in the IR department per unit workflow.
- Collaborate with a team that supports both IR and Cardiac Cath Lab coverage as needs arise.
- Maintain readiness for unit coverage needs, including call/after-hours support.
What You Need
Required
- Current RN license
- ACLS and BLS
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Competence to perform conscious sedation and monitor/record procedures in the IR department
- Not a 1st-time traveler (unit does not accept 1st-time travelers)
Preferred
- Experience working in IR and/or Cardiac Cath Lab settings
- Familiarity with on-call workflow and timely department arrival expectations
