What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to changes in status
- Administer medications and treatments per clinical protocols and physician orders
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the assigned electronic medical record
- Follow facility safety standards and participate in unit workflow to support continuity of care
- Support infection prevention and quality care practices in a critical-care environment
What You Need
Required
- New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (must be included up front with submissions)
- EPIC experience required (noted in the job requirements)
- Ability to meet unit onboarding/clearance requirements
Preferred
- Verbal de-escalation training completion from one of the following (as required for new/returning agency staff as of 01/01/2024):
- Welle Training (Verbal De-escalation bundle) or
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
