Temp Speech & Language Pathologist (SLP) – Long Term Care (LTC) Days | Moore, OK

What You’ll Do

  • Screen, evaluate, and provide speech and language therapy for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care aligned with regulatory and clinical practice standards.

  • Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions.

  • Monitor progress, adjust treatments accordingly, and document outcomes in the electronic health record.

  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients and their families/caregivers, and collaborate with other service providers.

  • Accurately record treatment minutes and complete required clinical documentation per company and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in required meetings and facility/company trainings (e.g., care conferences and utilization/rehab meetings).

  • Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries and ensure continuity of care based on evaluation and referral outcomes.

  • Support and supervise CFY or student Speech-Language Pathologists as applicable.


What You Need

Required


  • Active ASHA certification

  • Active State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Strong clinical documentation and communication skills

  • Familiarity with standardized assessments and evidence-based therapy practices



Preferred


  • Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) settings (not required but helpful)

  • Experience supporting or supervising CFY or students (if applicable)
