What You’ll Do
- Assist physical therapists in delivering treatment plans for patients in a Long Term Care setting
- Provide therapeutic interventions such as exercise, massage, and gait/balance training
- Support patient mobility and functional improvement through hands-on therapy activities
- Help monitor patient progress and track outcomes related to assigned treatments
- Record treatment activities and results accurately
- Communicate treatment updates and progress to the supervising physical therapist
- Maintain a patient-centered, respectful approach to care throughout each session
What You Need
Required
- Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license/certification (exact state requirements not specified)
- Ability to assist under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist
