Job Title: General Dentist – Rural Community in Spencer, IA

Quick Facts:
- Location: Spencer, IA (223 West 7th Street)
- Start Date: 06/29/2026 (as soon as credentialed, approximately 1-2 weeks)
- Duration: 3-6 months, with possibility of extension
- Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Day shift)
- Hours/Week: 40 hours/week
- Employment Type: Contract
- License/Certs: Iowa dental license or pending license preferred; must have no malpractice claims
- Experience: General dentistry experience required, including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns
Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $117.75/hour

What You’ll Do:
- Provide general dental care including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Manage patient care efficiently in a busy outpatient setting
- Collaborate with staff and refer complex cases as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC WISDOM EMR system
- Serve patients aged 5 through adult in a community clinic setting
- Contribute to ongoing community health improvement efforts
What You Need:
- Valid Iowa dental license or be in the process of obtaining one
- At least 1-2 years of general dentistry experience
- Proficiency in bread-and-butter procedures (fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals)
- No malpractice claims history (preferred)
- Ability to start quickly and work independently
