Job Title: General Dentist in Fort Dodge, IA | Rural Community Practice

- End Date: Open-ended (contract length 3-12 months with extension options)
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day shift, 8 hours)
- Hours/Week: 40 hours/week
- Employment Type: Contract / Locum Tenens
- Licensure: Dental License for Iowa (or active license in process)
- Experience: Valid dental license, experience preferred but new grads considered with proper credentials
Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $117.75/hour

What You’ll Do:
- Provide general dental care including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and other restorative procedures
- Manage patients aged 5 to adults, with a focus on community health needs
- Maintain and update patient dental records using EPIC WISDOM EMR system
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Handle approximately 16 patient visits per day in a rural clinic setting
- Refer complex cases to appropriate specialists as needed
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations
What You Need:
- Required:
- Valid dental license in Iowa or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in general dentistry, including restorative and surgical procedures
- Strong communication skills, especially in diverse and Spanish-speaking populations
- Preferred:
- Previous experience in rural or community health settings
- Ability to see a wide age range, from children to adults
