What You’ll Do
- Provide day-shift acute care nursing for an admissions-pending unit
- Deliver patient-centered care in alignment with facility standards
- Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and care needs
- Support safe medication administration and coordinated nursing care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain readiness for required holiday coverage as needed
- Float to other units if required (may be part of the assignment)
What You Need
Required
- Active KS RN license or multistate RN license
- BLS & ACLS (AHA)
- All required licensure and certifications must be due AT time of submission (no pending items)
- Ability to work 7a–7p schedule with 36 hrs/week
- Ability to provide holiday coverage as needed
- No first-time travelers (as stated in assignment requirements)
Preferred
- Experience in acute care (years not specified)
- Familiarity with Epic EMR

This assignment is with an award-winning Level II Trauma Center in Topeka, Kansas, supporting an Acute Care setting with a 26-week only commitment. Shifts are 7a–7p, and no call is required.
