Schedule

• 24-hour call coverage


• Nights, weekends, and holiday coverage

Practice Details

• Bread-and-butter General Surgery


• Approximately 65 surgical cases per month


• Supported by 2 surgeons and 1 nurse


• Epic EMR


• Coverage needed for supplemental call support

Procedures

• Appendectomy


• Cholecystectomy


• Bowel obstruction management


• Incision & Drainage (I&D)


• EGD


• Amputations


• Colonoscopy


• Strangulated hernia repair

Requirements

• Board Certified General Surgeon (ABS)


• Active North Carolina license required


• DEA required


• ICU/Critical Care procedure experience required


• Case logs required


• References required


• Expedited credentialing preferred for upcoming coverage dates
