Description
Our client in Ohio is actively seeking a board-certified Neurological Surgeon for a crucial 10-day assignment, commencing Jul 1, 2026. This position requires dedicated 24-hour call coverage from 7a-7a, primarily focusing on emergent cases within a Trauma Center. The Physician will manage a low volume of both spinal and cranial cases, playing a key role in providing essential neurosurgical care.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide 24-hour call coverage for emergency cases
- Respond to varied call schedules at a Trauma Center
- Manage 0-6 cases per week with a low volume focus
- Handle emergent cases only, specifically 60% spinal and 40% cranial
- Perform procedures such as Laminectomy, Spinal fusion, Spinal Stabilization, and Craniotomy
- Tumor removal and aneurysm clipping is optional
