"Radiology Locum Opportunity – Arkansas Position OverviewA regional acute care hospital is seeking a Radiologist for a full-time locum tenens assignment beginning August 2026. This opportunity offers a weekday-only schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities, making it ideal for providers seeking consistent daytime coverage in a collaborative hospital environment. Start Date: August 2026 Contract Length: 26 weeks Schedule Full-time coverage 8.5–9 hour shifts Start times vary between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM End times vary between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM One-hour unpaid lunch No call responsibilities No weekend coverage Practice Setting Acute Care Hospital Level III/IV Trauma Center Cerner EMR Philips PACS PowerScribe 360 Clinical Responsibilities General diagnostic radiology interpretation Emergency department imaging reads Musculoskeletal imaging Cross-sectional imaging MRI interpretation PET imaging experience welcomed Breast imaging experience welcomed Preferred Expertise Fellowship training is preferred but not required in: Musculoskeletal Imaging (MSK) Neuroradiology Body Imaging/MRI Providers from all fellowship backgrounds, as well as experienced general radiologists, are encouraged to apply. Procedures Interventional Radiology physicians cover major procedures Optional procedural backup opportunities available for interested providers Procedural participation is not required Qualifications Required Board Eligible or Board Certified Radiologist Active medical license or willingness to obtain licensure Comfortable reading general diagnostic radiology studies Preferred Fellowship training in MSK, Neuroradiology, or Body Imaging PET imaging experience Breast imaging experience New Graduates Welcome Newly trained radiologists are encouraged to apply.
