Academic Orthopedic Hand Surgery position in Western Kentucky. State of the Art Hospital! JOB# 54621

Job Details:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon


• Must be fellowship trained in Orthopedic Hand


• Active Kentucky license or willing to apply for one


• Open to experienced candidates and new grads!


• 1-2 days per week of Outreach


• Walk-in clinic  Sports Medicine physician tries to cover  if he s not there, other physicians assist with covering.


• New physicians can assist with the walk-in clinic to build his/her own practice


• You will assist with Teaching Residents and Students for the new family medicine residency program that started this year!


• Staff Call of 1:7---Office Call of 1:5, weekends; they typically handle their own patients during the week  they do try to align office call with staff call


• Average patients per day: 25-30


• Must be willing to perform General Ortho procedures if needed


• New Surgeon is needed due to growth and community needs
