As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide targeted treatments and develop long-term plans to help injured, disabled, or severely ill patients regain the skills and abilities needed for daily living. Your day will include evaluating progress, documenting outcomes, and educating patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment. Required qualifications include a current Occupational Therapist license, relevant state credentials, and experience in patient assessment and therapy planning.
