PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: Non-compliant, sick patient population
- Patient Volume/Census: 12-14 procedures per day

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
- Credentialing Timeline: ~3 months
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Upper Endoscopies (EGD)
- Colonoscopies
- ERCP (mid-level / moderate complexity)
- Esophageal, duodenal, or luminal stent placement
- Argon plasma coagulation
- Biopsies of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, and colon
- Colonoscopy with or without polypectomy
- Diagnostic and therapeutic EGD
- Enteral alimentation
- Esophageal dilation (balloon, bougie, or Savary with guidewire)
- Foreign body removal via EGD
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy
- GI motility studies and 24-hour pH monitoring
- Non-variceal hemostasis (upper and lower)
- Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Other Qualifications: Providers with strong relationship building and communication skills highly preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Perform general GI procedures, including upper endoscopies and colonoscopies
- Perform advanced procedures, including ERCP and esophageal stent placement
- Participate in shared call rotation with offsite after-hours response
- Engage with a non-compliant, sick patient population requiring strong communication and relationship-building skills
