  JOB REQUIREMENTS
  

  

    
• Board: BC/BE in Internal Medicine (ABIM), Family Medicine (ABFM), or Emergency Medicine (ABEM); board certification in hand at presentation

    
• Licenses: Active unrestricted Tennessee Medical License; DEA with TN address (schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5); state CSR required

    
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Tennessee address and CSR (schedules 2-5)

    
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS required; NRP required if not ABEM certified

    
• Experience: Residency training in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine; new graduates considered

    
• Other Qualifications: Case logs from the past 2 years; Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME required; immunizations (MMR, Varicella, TB) documentation

  

  DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  

  

    
• Provide comprehensive hospitalist care for medicine and cardiac patients

    
• Manage patients across acute care, ICU, and PCU settings with partial open ICU

    
• Supervise and coordinate with dedicated NP/PA admitter and other advanced practice providers

    
• Collaborate with extensive specialty backup including cardiology, pulmonology, surgery, and more

    
• Participate in code and rapid response activities as needed (dedicated teams handle primary response)
