Seeking a Medical/Surgical RN for an opportunity in South eastern, MO

The RN evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 

Additional information:

* Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:6-7

* Minimum of 1 year acute care experience required

* MO RN license or in process - looking for someone who can start ASAP

• Nurses use PSS (Patient Safer Solutions) for documentation and bar-code medication administration) in the inpatient areas
• Medication dispensing cabinets in all service areas
• 24/7 pharmacy coverage
• IV Therapy Coverage 6 days per week (12 hour shifts)
• House Supervisor and Bed placement nurse 24/7
• 24/7 Rapid Response Team
• 24/7 in house Hospitalist physician coverage
• Rural area with easy drive to St. Louis, Memphis, Jonesboro, Springfield
