Seeking an Operating Room / Circulator RN for an opportunity in South eastern, MO

Assists by acting as an intermediary between the operating room staff and other hospital staff. Ensures that the surgical room is sterile and safe for the patient. Works side by side with scrub nurses to help maintain the sterile field in the operating room. Prepares the patient for the procedure and handles the preparation for the operating room before the surgery takes place. Must have a strong attention to detail and physical stamina to handle long, arduous work hours. Assess the patient’s condition before a surgical procedure. Assesses the needs of the patient during the procedure, to ensure the best outcome.

Additional information:

* M-F 0630-1530 with 1 call day per week

* Weekend call every 6^th week

* 11 OR suites that includes hybrid room -- 8,000 annual cases that includes (Cardiothoracic surgery) & Davinci X robot

* Minimum of 1 year acute care experience required

* MO RN license or in process - looking for someone who can start ASAP

• Nurses use PSS (Patient Safer Solutions) for documentation and bar-code medication administration) in the inpatient areas
• Medication dispensing cabinets in all service areas
• 24/7 pharmacy coverage
• IV Therapy Coverage 6 days per week (12 hour shifts)
• House Supervisor and Bed placement nurse 24/7
• 24/7 Rapid Response Team
• 24/7 in house Hospitalist physician coverage
• Rural area with easy drive to St. Louis, Memphis, Jonesboro, Springfield
