General Surgery Physician
StartDate: ASAP
Pay Rate: $1746.00 - $1890.00
This facility is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: 24-hour call only (6:00 AM–6:00 AM). Urgent coverage needed July 13–16. Mostly weekend call coverage with ongoing opportunities available.
Practice Setting: Inpatient coverage at a Level 3 trauma center in Southwest Colorado. No clinic duties.
Type of Cases and Required Procedures: General surgery and trauma call coverage. Emergency department consults, inpatient management, trauma cases, and general surgery operations as needed. Coverage of existing inpatients until discharge.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days standard. Emergency temporary privileges available.
Electronic Medical Record: Epic.
Certifications Required: Board Certified in General Surgery, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Basic Life Support. Drug Enforcement Administration registration highly preferred and required for credentialing.
Licensure Required: Active Colorado medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification at submission.
