Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – General Surgery (Trauma) – Richland, WA

Join a leading facility in Richland, WA providing inpatient coverage for an active Trauma Surgery team. This role offers 7a–7p or 7p–7a shift options across September–November (with additional potential dates), along with a competitive pay package with weekly pay via direct deposit. What You’ll Do

  • Provide inpatient coverage as part of the surgical team supporting Trauma Surgery services

  • Support clinical care for pediatric trauma cases with strong comfort in pediatric surgery consultation and involvement

  • Participate in care activities including HMP/endoscopic appendectomy as assigned (as applicable to the assignment)

  • Cover scheduled shifts: 7a–7p or 7p–7a, based on open shift needs

  • Maintain credentialing readiness (submit required documents for verification)



Open shift dates (as listed):


  • 09/07 to 09/13

  • 09/21 to 09/27

  • 10/05 to 10/11

  • 10/19 to 10/25

  • 11/02 to 11/08

  • 11/16 to 11/22

  • 11/30 to 12/06 (possible need)

    (August shifts may also be available if privileged in time: 08/10–08/16 and 08/24–08/30.)


What You Need

Required


  • Current CV uploaded with application

  • Active license or IMLC

  • DEA required

  • Ability to perform pediatric surgeries and be comfortable consulting on pediatric cases

  • BC only (as required for the assignment)



Preferred


  • Experience working in a pediatric trauma environment (Level 3 Pediatric Trauma center setting)


About the Assignment

This locums assignment supports a Level 3 Pediatric Trauma center. Pediatric case volume is described as less than 20 cases per month, and the primary requirement is that the APP is comfortable and competent with pediatric surgical consultation and involvement. Additional involvement may include HMP and/or endoscopic appendectomy depending on assignment needs.
