ICU Registered Nurse (Critical Care Float Pool) – Columbus, OH
Join our Critical Care Float Pool and take advantage of weekend night shifts with scheduling that supports unit needs as they arise. You’ll receive an hourly pay rate of $59.18 and a strong W-2 benefits package with weekly pay by direct deposit. Start 07/27/2026 and help deliver critical care across a variety of ICU settings.

What You’ll Do
- Provide critical care nursing while floating to ICU units based on staffing and patient acuity
- Support care across a variety of ICUs, including (as needed): Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and SICU/MICU/NCCU
- Follow float policy by working within units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care during night 3x12-hour shifts
- Use clinical workflows and documentation systems, including EPIC
- Provide advanced bedside support, including IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management experience
- Collaborate with the care team to meet changing unit needs
What You Need
Required
- 2+ years of ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- EPIC proficiency
- Experience with:
- IV starts
- Telemetry
- Ventilator management
Preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience
About the Assignment
This role is part of a Critical Care Float Pool providing weekend night coverage for ICUs based on staffing and acuity. Nurses will float across multiple ICU types, offering variety while supporting continuity of care within the float pool’s policy.
