What You’ll Do
- Provide direct nursing care for PCU patients with an estimated 1:3 patient ratio
- Perform and monitor telemetry for cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
- Use IV start proficiency to support timely patient care needs
- Deliver care using facility workflows and documentation practices (including Epic experience)
- Rotate or float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as assigned
- Support safe, coordinated care during rotating holidays and weekday/weekend coverage
- Participate in required on-call coverage as scheduled
What You Need
Required
- Current RN licensure (state licensure requirements not specified)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of PCU experience
- Telemetry monitoring experience
- IV start proficiency
- Epic experience required
- Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
Preferred
- Previous travel experience
- Comfort with rotating assignments in a multi-unit environment
About the Assignment
This position is for a PCU Registered Nurse working nights in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment at a leading facility in Columbus, Ohio. The schedule includes weekdays and some weekends with rotating holidays, and you’ll support unit coverage through required on-call and occasional floating within comparable acuity levels.
